Zinc Nitrate

Offered in white free flow fine powder form, Zinc Nitrate is basically inorganic chemical compound. It is used as an effective catalyst for producing dyes, drugs and other chemicals. This chemical has 2.065g/cm3 density and its molecular weight is 189.36 g/mol. This substance has around 125 degree C boiling point and 110 degree C melting point. This multipurpose chemical is produced by diluting zinc in nitric acid. As catalyst, Zinc Nitrate is needed for synthesis of coordination polymers. It serves as latex coagulant, as powerful oxidizing factor and also as mordant for dye stuff making. During production of resin, this chemical acts as catalyst. Under high temperature, it tends to discharge toxic oxides of nitrogen. Being flammable, it raises fire intensity when exposed to hazardous substances.
